CS Shantanu Kumar is a seasoned academic and finance professional with over 11 years of industry consulting and teaching experience. He is a Company Secretary and Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), an ACSI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, London, U.K.), and a CA (Intermediate). He also holds an MBA and M.Com, is a certified ESG Analyst, a Certified CSR Professional, and has earned the NCMP Level-2 certification from the National Stock Exchange. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sustainable Finance from CSJM University, Kanpur, Mr.

Kumar brings a unique blend of academic rigor and practical insight into the classroom. His areas of interest include financial markets, sustainability reporting, corporate governance, and taxation.

Mr. Kumar has a rich background in teaching students pursuing CA, CS, MBA, and undergraduate degrees. He adopts a student-centric and friendly teaching approach, believing that learners are peers who have yet to acquire the knowledge he aims to share. He is also an active researcher, having presented and published multiple papers in reputednational and international journals and conferences, including Scopus-indexed publications.
