Corporate Business Acumen training (C-BAT) encompasses programs aimed at enhancing student’s abilities to make informed business decisions that align with the organization’s strategic goals. “Business Acumen” refers to the capacity to comprehend and navigate business situations effectively, leading to favorable outcomes. This includes an understanding of business operations, the financial impact of decisions, and the interrelationships between different company functions. Under C-BAT program student undertake live projects and small internships at various organizations in Kanpur parallel to their academic program. The C-BAT program features practical learning projects, including Mini and Major Projects, STP Projects, and Small Live Projects, to build these essential skills.

The program includes 2-hour classes every Saturday, mock interviews, reasoning and aptitude sessions, short-term skill enhancement courses, CSR training, and soft skills development led by life coaches to address the gap between academic preparation and corporate expectations.
STUDENT PEER MENTEE-MENTOR RELATIONSHIP PROGRAM
The Student Peer Mentoring Program partners with Student Life to support new students as they transition into their first year of higher education. Peer Mentors play a key role in helping these students integrate seamlessly into the Jagran Institute of Management by offering guidance on academic issues, navigating campus resources, and addressing training and placement concerns.
